Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver / Yard Supervisor to join our Moorpark team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fencing materials to job sites and the day-to-day organization and oversight of our yard operations. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is organized, physically capable, and takes ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Driving
• Operate Class B commercial vehicles to deliver fencing materials, posts, and supplies to job sites throughout the region
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards
• Load and unload materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling
• Verify delivery accuracy against work orders and obtain proper signatures
• Communicate with branch staff and field crews regarding delivery schedules and job site access
• Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation

Yard Supervision & Operations
• Oversee daily yard operations including material organization, inventory staging, and cleanliness
• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders
• Coordinate yard workflow with the branch manager and sales staff
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of fencing materials (vinyl, wood, chain link, aluminum, iron, etc.)
• Monitor and report low inventory levels to purchasing staff
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant yard environment in accordance with OSHA and company safety policies
• Assist with loading customer and crew vehicles as needed

Requirements
• Valid California Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) — required
• Clean DMV record
• Forklift certification or demonstrated forklift experience
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. regularly
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in fencing, construction, landscaping, or building materials
• Experience supervising or leading a yard or warehouse crew
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Familiarity with DOT compliance and hours-of-service regulations

Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays may be required)
